Stewart Park Festival is excited that the Perth Run for Refugees will take place on the Saturday morning of the Stewart Park Festival in downtown Perth!
What was once known as the Over the Rainbow Run (due to the course making its way over the landmark Rainbow bridge), the 5km chipped time run will now be hosted by Northgate Ministry and act as a fundraising event for the sponsorship of three Syrian Refugees.
The run will begin at the Wendy Laut River Stage in Stewart Park on Saturday, July 15 and includes a 5km-route, a 2km-walk and a family 1km and 100-metre fun run. They also plan to have live music, homemade pie awards and a breakfast!
We welcome this event back to festival weekend and hope that you will support it. It’s a great way to get in a little exercise before taking in an afternoon of great music.
